The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, VB-Team's goal looked a bit too open when Marinos Sidiropoulos came free, but Armindo Salgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 6th minute, Marinos Sidiropoulos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With 9 minutes on the clock, Cesare Maldini commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Liverpool F.C. YNWA fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 8th minute. Penalty! 13 minutes into the match, VB-Team's goal looked a bit too open when Marinos Sidiropoulos came free, but Armindo Salgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Liverpool F.C. YNWA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tytus Lichucki in the 14th minute. An unexpected shot in the 16th minute by Joaquim de Barros got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 19 minutes into the match, Liverpool F.C. YNWA's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Caeiro came free, but Alisson Becker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tytus Lichucki hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joaquim de Barros got free with Alisson Becker in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mattias Jonasson charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mattias Jonasson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Liverpool F.C. YNWA made a substitution. Dominik Zawacki replaced Marinos Sidiropoulos. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ata Bircan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, VB-Team's goalkeeper Armindo Salgado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ata Bircan. VB-Team's Armindo Salgado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save VB-Team from getting a goal against them. After 61 minutes of play, VB-Team's Luís Caeiro made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alisson Becker was left in no man's land by his defense there! VB-Team's Yu Ke Hong was substituted for Mattias Jonasson. VB-Team's Armindo Salgado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save VB-Team from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Ata Bircan took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Armindo Salgado to make any attempt to save it. In the 74th minute, Ata Bircan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Liverpool F.C. YNWA made a substitution. Panos Zounis replaced Mario Napolitano. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ata Bircan in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Armindo Salgado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tilemachos Romanidis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Armindo Salgado having to make a save. After 83 played minutes VB-Team got a freekick which was hit by Gervásio Severiano. Armindo Salgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ata Bircan in the 84th minute of play. Liverpool F.C. YNWA were awarded a corner in the 85th minute after VB-Team's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tytus Lichucki took the corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ata Bircan in the 87th minute of play forced VB-Team's goalkeeper Armindo Salgado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th match minute, Liverpool F.C. YNWA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Panos Zounis to maneuver through the defense. Ata Bircans short, quick shot in the 91stth minute got Armindo Salgado to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Liverpool F.C. YNWA's Ata Bircan in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye VB-Team's goalie prevented a goal. Liverpool F.C. YNWA's Ata Bircan got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
