The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gavino Gabino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cayetano Francho having to make a save. 8 minutes into the match, Patay Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Gavino Gabino came free, but Cayetano Francho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oliverio Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard Ledesma in the 9th minute of play. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Oliverio Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgard Ledesma in the 12th minute of play. With a little luck, ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Oliverio Kahn got control of the ball when Prospero Petri tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 16th minute, Gavino Gabino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Cayetano Francho came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Gavino Gabino. But to his dismay, Gavino Gabino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Cayetano Francho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gavino Gabino went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 31st minute, Gavino Gabino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A nice corner shot did that Tobias Xacintu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Cayetano Francho quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Gavino Gabino scored 0-4 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cayetano Francho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Prospero Petri made a kick off. Cayetano Francho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gavino Gabino's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. In the 55th minute Gavino Gabino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cayetano Francho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes into the game, ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Gavino Gabino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cayetano Francho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Oliverio Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cedric Ceballos in the 59th minute of play. Cayetano Francho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gavino Gabino went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ made a substitution. Saturnino Romo replaced Gavino Gabino. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ made a substitution. Aldo Cresconio replaced Mats Liljeström. After having played for 67 minutes, Saturnino Romo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Saturnino Romo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cayetano Francho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saturnino Romo in the 69th minute of play. After 73 minutes Patay Juniors's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tobias Xacintu who took care of the corner kick. After a rather tough play, Patay Juniors's Justino Pinto got a free kick in the 78th minute. Cayetano Francho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Saturnino Romo went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. Saturnino Romo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saturnino Romo in the 86th minute of play forced Patay Juniors's goalkeeper Cayetano Francho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saturnino Romo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 92 minutes into the match, Patay Juniors's goalkeeper Cayetano Francho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Saturnino Romo. Saturnino Romo scored 0-8 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cayetano Francho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
