An unexpectedly hard shot by Ermis Panakakis in the 10th minute of play forced ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s goalkeeper Oliverio Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute of the match O.T.E got a corner. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fotis Papadimas ran over to the corner to take the kick. Sandro Fonseca hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gavino Gabino in the 14th minute of play forced O.T.E's goalkeeper Javier García to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gavino Gabino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 16th minute Gavino Gabino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier García saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tobias Xacintu made a great header on ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s corner, it was just that O.T.E's Javier García managed to reach the ball for a save. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gavino Gabino was the one to do the kick off. After 54 minutes of play, ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Gavino Gabino made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Javier García was left in no man's land by his defense there! Javier García took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gavino Gabino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Gavino Gabino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Javier García was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Saturnino Romo might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Javier García. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
