Kim Alnes started the match with the kick off. Sturle Åsland stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gavino Gabino's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Mats Liljeström managed to get in a good position for a shot. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s supporters rose to their feet, but Mats Liljeström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sturle Åsland breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sturle Åsland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gavino Gabino, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. The corner led ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Benedito Camargo to a score. 0-2 in the 14th minute. 17 minutes into the game, ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Gavino Gabino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sturle Åsland made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. 20 minutes into the match, Gavino Gabino notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Åsnes's Sturle Åsland. Sturle Åsland was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 27th play minutes Gavino Gabino shot 0-5, a short shot which went by Sturle Åsland and just under the crossbar into goal. When Roman Bide came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Åsnes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roman Bide couldn't finish the play. 31 minutes into the match, Gavino Gabino notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Åsnes's Sturle Åsland. Sturle Åsland was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 36th match minute, Åsnes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Snorre Fonn to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th minute, Gavino Gabino made a precise shot to the right of Sturle Åsland. Åsnes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. After some careless play in the Åsnes defense, Gavino Gabino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sturle Åsland. The Åsnes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sturle Åsland should have stopped the shot. When Gavino Gabino came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gavino Gabino couldn't finish the play. Jon-Inge Nysæter kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Tobias Xacintu was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 47th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-8 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After 53 played minutes Åsnes got a freekick which was hit by Snorre Fonn. Åsnes's defense didn't have a chance, in the 62nd minute, when Gavino Gabino scored to the left of an out of position Sturle Åsland, making the score, 0-10. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ made a substitution. Saturnino Romo replaced Gavino Gabino. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Ezequiel Lavezzi was substituted for Benedito Camargo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saturnino Romo in the 69th minute of play forced Åsnes's goalkeeper Sturle Åsland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Saturnino Romo notched a goal, 0-11, to the right of Åsnes's Sturle Åsland. Sturle Åsland was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Åsnes's attentive Poyraz Erçetin managed to snatch the ball when Dedê Donatello made a throw-in in the 78th minute of the game. Sturle Åsland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saturnino Romo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Åsnes getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Roman Bide hit a great ball. A sloppy throw-in by Snorre Fonn in the 86th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Tobias Xacintu. Saturnino Romo might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sturle Åsland. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Saturnino Romo ran back to his position shaking his head. Sturle Åsland didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Saturnino Romo went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-12 was the resulting score. In the 90th minute, Saturnino Romo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle sounded ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Åsnes.
