The audience was convinced that Jan Kisielka's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oliverio Kahn was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. In the 17th minute Gavino Gabino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toader Tinu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oliverio Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yenal Nizami, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. A throw-in in the 23rd minute of the game was made by Mehmet Osman Sarduç with Yenal Nizami as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Gavino Gabino succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 28th playminute. In the 39th minute Gavino Gabino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toader Tinu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gavino Gabino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Toader Tinu having to make a save. Toader Tinu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gavino Gabino in the 40th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Gavino Gabino kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Toader Tinu. That made the score 2-0 in the 44 minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gavino Gabino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Florencio Fernendo got free with Oliverio Kahn in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mehmet Osman Sarduç kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Tuğrul Yesari's late challenge caught a ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tuğrul Yesari helped the player get up and apologised. Tuğrul Yesari hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Toader Tinu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobias Xacintu in the 60th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Jan Kisielka got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ made a substitution. Ezequiel Lavezzi replaced Benedito Camargo. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Aldo Cresconio was substituted for Mats Liljeström. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Saturnino Romo was substituted for Gavino Gabino.
