Alvito Helguera ran back to his position shaking his head. Larpe Cabrera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Víktor Magalhães in the 42nd minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Alvito Helguera managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nueva Adalucia's supporters rose to their feet, but Alvito Helguera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zoran Simović breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nueva Adalucia made a substitution. Cordarin Velazquez replaced Manel Sans. 58 minutes into the match, Nueva Adalucia's goal looked a bit too open when Víktor Magalhães came free, but Larpe Cabrera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nueva Adalucia's Larpe Cabrera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Víktor Magalhães in the 59th minute of play. Larpe Cabrera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Víktor Magalhães in the 71st minute of the match. After 72 played minutes Nueva Adalucia got a freekick which was hit by Mané Alcaraz. The supporters of 17 de enero team booed when Nueva Adalucia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mané Alcaraz didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jesús Espinosa in the 76th minute of play forced 17 de enero team's goalkeeper Zoran Simović to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joel Gamus got free with Larpe Cabrera in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Víktor Magalhães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Larpe Cabrera having to interfere. Nueva Adalucia succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though 17 de enero team had controlled the match.
