Arden Poulin started the match with the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arden Poulin in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Murilo Ferreira saved Buritama Sports from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Avery Merrill kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Murilo Ferreira. That made the score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. Santos Perez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abelardo da Fonseca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Murilo Ferreira was a little too slow when Arden Poulin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 11th minute. The score was now 2-0. 18 minutes into the game, Alexsandro Aguiar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Santos Perez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Murilo Ferreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ildefonso Harkaitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Santos Perez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Dias, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Buritama Sports's Murilo Ferreira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Buritama Sports from getting a goal against them. Santos Perez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alexsandro Aguiar's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Arden Poulin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Murilo Ferreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arden Poulin in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Murilo Ferreira saved Buritama Sports from getting behind. Avery Merrill hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Santos Perez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abelardo da Fonseca's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. In the 46th minute, Nuno Fonseca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The wind increased when Alexsandro Aguiar made the kick off in the second half. Abelardo da Fonseca might have been able to make a better finish in the 50th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Santos Perez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abelardo da Fonseca ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 54th match minute, Persepolis F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gwidon Seliga to maneuver through the defense. Buritama Sports's Albertinho Vinhas was substituted for Ricardo Dias. Abelardo da Fonseca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Santos Perez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Abelardo da Fonsecas short, quick shot in the 66thth minute got Santos Perez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 68 minutes had been played when some careless play by Persepolis F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Wang Wei Sha was slow to take the kick. During this time Buritama Sports's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Persepolis F.C.'s goalie and right to Albertinho Vinhas. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Persepolis F.C.'s manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 71st minute Alexsandro Aguiar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santos Perez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Buritama Sports's Doriva Souto was substituted for Wang Wei Sha. Murilo Ferreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Avery Merrill in the 77th minute of the match. Santos Perez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexsandro Aguiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Doriva Souto was slow to take the kick. During this time Buritama Sports's players had a chance to rest. Santos Perez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alexsandro Aguiar went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-4 was the resulting score. When Persepolis F.C.'s Avery Merrill in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Buritama Sports's goalie prevented a goal. Danny Craig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
