With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cris Gol in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Remus Vuia saved Granicerul from getting behind. The supporters of Granicerul booed when Predador Brasiliense MZBR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ali Kürşat Aurelio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Remus Vuia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cris Gol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Cris Gol managed to get in a good position for a shot. Predador Brasiliense MZBR's supporters rose to their feet, but Cris Gol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Remus Vuia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Remus Vuia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cris Gol, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. The supporters of Granicerul booed when Predador Brasiliense MZBR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aílton Moura didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cris Gol might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Remus Vuia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cris Gol ran back to his position shaking his head. 21 minutes into the match, Granicerul's goal looked a bit too open when Cris Gol came free, but Remus Vuia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Granicerul's Remus Vuia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cris Gol in the 29th minute of play. Cris Gol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Remus Vuia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cris Gol in the 33rd minute of play. Cris Gol's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Remus Vuia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. In the 41st minute Cris Gol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remus Vuia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jack Ares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some careless play in the Granicerul defense, Cris Gol kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Remus Vuia. The Granicerul fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Remus Vuia should have stopped the shot. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dinu Pelin made a kick off. Cris Gol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cris Gol got free with Remus Vuia in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Remus Vuia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cris Gol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th match minute, Granicerul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Arif Polatalp to maneuver through the defense. Predador Brasiliense MZBR's Jânio Donatello was substituted for Birger Ståhlman. After 65 played minutes Granicerul got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Arif Polatalp. Jânio Donatello, 66 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Remus Vuia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Asrın Dirsehan in the 69th minute. After a rather tough play, Granicerul's Valeriu Zoreanu got a free kick in the 71st minute. Granicerul were awarded a corner in the 74th minute after Predador Brasiliense MZBR's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Valeriu Zoreanu took the corner. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jânio Donatello got free with Remus Vuia in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jack Ares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Granicerul's zone, Jânio Donatello stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Remus Vuia came out of the goal and Jânio Donatello tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 95th minute, Valeriu Zoreanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Predador Brasiliense MZBR getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Jânio Donatello hit a great ball. Predador Brasiliense MZBR played a much better game than Granicerul and deserved their victory. The Granicerul players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
