Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Arden Poulin started the match with the kick off. When Buritama Sports's Alexsandro Aguiar in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Persepolis F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Abelardo da Fonseca's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Santos Perez was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. In the 7thth minute of the game Arden Poulin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Buritama Sports's Murilo Ferreira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Santos Perez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexsandro Aguiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Murilo Ferreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Avery Merrill in the 12th minute of play. Justo Carlomagno struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Murilo Ferreira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Persepolis F.C.. 17 minutes into the match, Persepolis F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Alexsandro Aguiar came free, but Santos Perez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valdomiro de Senna made a great header on Buritama Sports's corner, it was just that Persepolis F.C.'s Santos Perez managed to reach the ball for a save. Buritama Sports's Alexsandro Aguiar got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The corner led Persepolis F.C.'s Arden Poulin to fire away a dangerous shot which Murilo Ferreira despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 26th minute, Dalmo da Silveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Murilo Ferreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ildefonso Harkaitz in the 29th minute of the match. If Alexsandro Aguiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute Avery Merrill shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Murilo Ferreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Buritama Sports defense, Danny Craig kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Murilo Ferreira. The Buritama Sports fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Murilo Ferreira should have stopped the shot. Murilo Ferreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arden Poulin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42ndth minute of the game Arden Poulin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Buritama Sports's Murilo Ferreira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 43 minutes Buritama Sports's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Arden Poulin who took care of the corner kick. In the 47th minute, Alexsandro Aguiar fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Alexsandro Aguiar made the kick off in the second half. Buritama Sports's Murilo Ferreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arden Poulin in the 53rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Danny Craig got free with Murilo Ferreira in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Buritama Sports's Murilo Ferreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ildefonso Harkaitz in the 61st minute of play. Murilo Ferreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arden Poulin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kory Saunders kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Buritama Sports's Doriva Souto was substituted for Ricardo Dias. In the 64th match minute, Persepolis F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kory Saunders to maneuver through the defense. Danny Craig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Buritama Sports's Abelardo da Fonseca in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Persepolis F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Persepolis F.C.'s Dennis Rudolph was substituted for Gwidon Seliga. Santos Perez came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Buritama Sports's Abelardo da Fonseca. But to his dismay, Abelardo da Fonseca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
