Laércio Coutinho ran over to the corner to take the kick. Frans Alström was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Hugo Moraes made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Victor Blom sent off a good shot on target. Sokol Narev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ola Børseth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roald Engebakken received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Sokol Narev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ola Børseth took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sokol Narev. Sokol Narev dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Victor Blom stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jørgen Stavem during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 77th minute, Anton Galle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Sunkens Surtröjor's Aleksander Lange got a free kick in the 95th minute. Sunkens Surtröjor's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
