José Pedro Carneiro hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. 16 minutes into the match, Club El Progreso's goalkeeper Benjamin Tino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robben Spoelberchs. Benjamin Tino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jânio Sanches in the 17th minute. Cleto Cordaro hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Benjamin Tino acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 19th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Osvaldo Velloso. In the 21st minute, Washington Papa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club El Progreso fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Washington Papa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club El Progreso's supporters rose to their feet, but Washington Papa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tales Brito breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 32nd minute, Cleto Cordaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th minute Indiana Jones shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tales Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Club El Progreso's Benjamin Tino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robben Spoelberchs in the 67th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Alfredo Stefano notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Club El Progreso's Benjamin Tino. Benjamin Tino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tales Brito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Indiana Jones in the 77th minute of play. Benjamin Tino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Stefano, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Cleto Cordaro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Tales Brito made a huge save. Club El Progreso's Benjamin Tino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robben Spoelberchs in the 87th minute of play. In the 87th minute Robben Spoelberchs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Tino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Castanheiro SC's Tales Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enzo Bot in the 92nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Stefano in the 94th minute of play forced Club El Progreso's goalkeeper Benjamin Tino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Castanheiro SC's Tales Brito proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Castanheiro SC from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Castanheiro SC had won after a very even match.
