The coaching staff of Club El Progreso protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Adolfo Fidensio had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Benjamin Tino had in the 15thth minute some difficulties stopping 俞翀岚's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 俞翀岚 did an outstanding performance 15 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 1-1 to the right of an irritated Benjamin Tino in the goal. Benjamin Tino made an important save on a dangerous shot by 何威庭 in the 20th minute. In the 22nd minute Indiana Jones shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Chioreanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vinícius Junior received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Benjamin Tino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Club El Progreso were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
