Berenjenas de Punto Fijo were awarded a corner in the 5th minute after Flamengo FSCMZ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dieter Denys took the corner. Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's Thibaut Vandamme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramón Furtado in the 11th minute of play. Dmytro Novak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvaro Ramiréz in the 13th minute of the match. Alvaro Ramiréz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Dmytro Novak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ramón Furtado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Thibaut Vandamme having to make a save. 20 minutes into the match, Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's goal looked a bit too open when Ramón Furtado came free, but Thibaut Vandamme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alvaro Ramiréz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dmytro Novak having to make a save. Flamengo FSCMZ's Dmytro Novak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvaro Ramiréz in the 22nd minute of play. In the 26th play minute Ramón Furtado came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Thibaut Vandamme. 1-0. Eliseu Marquez kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Ramón Furtado's late challenge caught a Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ramón Furtado helped the player get up and apologised. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Berenjenas de Punto Fijo made a substitution. Juli Alvarez replaced Alvaro Ramiréz. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Juli Alvarez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ramón Furtado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Thibaut Vandamme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juli Alvarez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dmytro Novak read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. In the 61st minute of the game Clément Labonne made a throw-in which Eliseu Marquez played forward. Dmytro Novak was out of position in the 66 minute of play, and Juli Alvarez capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Juli Alvarez really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Thibaut Vandamme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramón Furtado in the 69th minute of play. In the 74th match minute, Flamengo FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramón Furtado to maneuver through the defense. The throw-in from Adolfo Gombal in the 76th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Flamengo FSCMZ's Eliseu Marquez. Stefan Banaszak took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thibaut Vandamme. Thibaut Vandamme dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Nico Otamendi hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. 88 minutes into the game, Maurinho Meira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Flamengo FSCMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Berenjenas de Punto Fijo the free kick. After 89 played minutes Flamengo FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Maurinho Meira. 90 minutes into the match, Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's Juli Alvarez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dmytro Novak narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Juli Alvarez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dmytro Novak having to interfere. Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
