The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Aurelio Rexino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. 5 minutes into the match, Flatline Zombies's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Mook came free, but Armağan Mukremin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 6th minute, Axel Della Rossa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dariusz Rekawiczka took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 7th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Armağan Mukremin. Flatline Zombies's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Levent Erkinay in the 11th minute of play forced Seagulls's goalkeeper Aurelio Rexino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Armağan Mukremin made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Nildo Matos sent off a good shot on target. Seagulls's Aurelio Rexino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leon Kalb in the 15th minute of play. Aurelio Rexino came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Flatline Zombies's Liborius Müller. But to his dismay, Liborius Müller quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Seagulls's Aurelio Rexino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uriel Imbach in the 23rd minute of play. Flatline Zombies were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after Seagulls's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Finn Neeser took the corner. Finn Neeser made a great header on Flatline Zombies's corner, it was just that Seagulls's Aurelio Rexino managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 27thth minute of the game Liborius Müller who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Seagulls's Aurelio Rexino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aurelio Rexino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Levent Erkinay in the 30th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Roderick van Boxel dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Armağan Mukremin, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Liborius Müller in the 43rd minute of play forced Seagulls's goalkeeper Aurelio Rexino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aurelio Rexino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Levent Erkinay in the 47th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Roderick van Boxel made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Seagulls's goal looked a bit too open when Leon Kalb came free, but Aurelio Rexino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulo Seco who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Aurelio Rexino when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some careless play in the Seagulls defense, Liborius Müller kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aurelio Rexino. The Seagulls fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aurelio Rexino should have stopped the shot. Liborius Müller could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Aurelio Rexino made a huge save. After some careless play in the Seagulls defense, Levent Erkinay kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aurelio Rexino. The Seagulls fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aurelio Rexino should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Seagulls's zone, Paulo Seco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aurelio Rexino came out of the goal and Paulo Seco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Seagulls's Aurelio Rexino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leon Kalb in the 81st minute of play. Aurelio Rexino was out of position in the 88 minute of play, and Liborius Müller capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Liborius Müller really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. Flatline Zombies made a substitution. Edmondo Conti replaced Liborius Müller. In the 92nd minute, George Oprița hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aurelio Rexino made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Edmondo Conti sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Flatline Zombies had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
