The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. AC Korban's Oséias Dantas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Best Štriker in the 9th minute of play. Oséias Dantas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Best Štriker in the 15th minute of the match. Jaime de Castro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Aurelio Rexino made a huge save. Jaime de Castro took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aurelio Rexino. Aurelio Rexino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Oséias Dantas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roderick van Boxel, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Seagulls's Aurelio Rexino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Neto in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Neto in the 24th minute of play forced Seagulls's goalkeeper Aurelio Rexino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Seagulls's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Neto came free, but Aurelio Rexino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 28 minutes into the game, Seagulls's Marco Mook nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Oséias Dantas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 33 minutes into the match, Igor Neto dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aurelio Rexino, 2-1. In the 36th match minute, AC Korban was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime de Castro to maneuver through the defense. Roderick van Boxel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oséias Dantas having to interfere. Igor Neto struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Aurelio Rexino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AC Korban.

The Seagulls fans' excitement grew in the 51st match minute when Seagulls's Roderick van Boxel looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Marco Mook fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Seagulls's protests and gave Marco Mook a yellow card for diving instead. In the 54th minute, Marco Mook hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roderick van Boxel got free with Oséias Dantas in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 58th minute, Igor Neto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aurelio Rexino was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. When Seagulls's Roderick van Boxel in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AC Korban's goalie prevented a goal. After 62 minutes of play, AC Korban's Igor Neto made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aurelio Rexino was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jaime de Castro charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jaime de Castro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 67 played minutes Seagulls got a freekick which was hit by Marco Mook. The crowd rose to their feet as Seagulls's Best Štriker slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Oséias Dantas. That made the score 4-3 after 69 minutes of play. In the 71st match minute, Seagulls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Mook to maneuver through the defense. Jaime de Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Rexino having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nildo Matos got free with Oséias Dantas in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roderick van Boxel got free with Oséias Dantas in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Igor Neto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aurelio Rexino having to make a save. Marco Mook kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Igor Neto in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aurelio Rexino saved Seagulls from getting behind.
