Nacional's Juaneizu Merida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sten Blixt in the 3rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grabiel Escorcia in the 4th minute of play forced Blue Lions FC's goalkeeper Milosz Kuszczak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Blue Lions FC's Milosz Kuszczak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grabiel Escorcia in the 6th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Blue Lions FC's zone, Grabiel Escorcia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Milosz Kuszczak came out of the goal and Grabiel Escorcia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 9th minute Grabiel Escorcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Milosz Kuszczak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute, Grabiel Escorcia made a precise shot to the right of Milosz Kuszczak. Blue Lions FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Grabiel Escorcia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Milosz Kuszczak having to make a save. Milosz Kuszczak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Grabiel Escorcia in the 16th minute. Nacional's Juaneizu Merida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sten Blixt in the 18th minute of play. Grabiel Escorcia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Milosz Kuszczak having to make a save. Juaneizu Merida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gogo Columbo in the 28th minute of play. In the 41st minute of the match, Joseph Gayoso got a very nice opportunity to score, but Milosz Kuszczak was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Mendiko Bueres's late challenge caught a Blue Lions FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mendiko Bueres helped the player get up and apologised. After 43 played minutes Nacional got a freekick which was hit by Mendiko Bueres. If Gogo Columbo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 46 minutes into the game, Jaroslaw Bator threw the ball into play from the sideline. Nacional's Joseph Gayoso quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The supporters of Blue Lions FC booed when Nacional was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jony Maidana didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nacional made a substitution. Walme Yurre replaced Mendiko Bueres. After a rather tough play, Nacional's Jony Maidana got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Blue Lions FC's Gogo Columbo got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Grabiel Escorcia in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Milosz Kuszczak saved Blue Lions FC from getting behind. 67 minutes into the match, Grabiel Escorcia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Milosz Kuszczak. Blue Lions FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Grabiel Escorcia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. 72 minutes into the game, Jaroslaw Bator was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Blue Lions FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nacional the free kick. Jaroslaw Bator hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 78thth minute of the game Grabiel Escorcia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Blue Lions FC's Milosz Kuszczak was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 79th minute of the match Nacional got a corner. Blue Lions FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Xu Sha ran over to the corner to take the kick. Nacional's Xu Sha was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Milosz Kuszczak in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Grabiel Escorcia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nacional's supporters rose to their feet, but Grabiel Escorcia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Milosz Kuszczak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Grabiel Escorcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A beautiful save bye Blue Lions FC's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Grabiel Escorcia in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Milosz Kuszczak prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Milosz Kuszczak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grabiel Escorcia in the 94th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Blue Lions FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Nacional.
