In the 40thth minute of the game 乔适桑 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Blue Lions FC's Milosz Kuszczak was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Leo Dauwen was a little too slow when Sten Blixt got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 46th minute. The score was now 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The crowd rose to their feet as Bacardi FC's 乔适桑 slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Milosz Kuszczak. That made the score 1-3 after 56 minutes of play. Bacardi FC's Eeng Kuswanto was substituted for Bob Leerbels. Leo Dauwen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gogo Columbo in the 63rd minute of the match. Leo Dauwen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sten Blixt's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paul-Louis Van Mechelen in the 69th minute of play forced Blue Lions FC's goalkeeper Milosz Kuszczak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes had been played when some careless play by Blue Lions FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Arnoud Van Gestel was slow to take the kick. During this time Bacardi FC's players had a chance to rest. Bacardi FC's Karel Christiaens was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Milosz Kuszczak in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Sten Blixt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Dauwen having to interfere. The supporters of Bacardi FC booed when Blue Lions FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pankracy Pisarczyk didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute, Pankracy Pisarczyk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 85 minutes of play, Bacardi FC's Eeng Kuswanto made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Milosz Kuszczak was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 88th minute, Karel Christiaens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Roni Coryn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Milosz Kuszczak was a little too slow when Roni Coryn got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 93rd minute. The score was now 1-5. The Bacardi FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
