Karl-Michael Brask started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Michael Brask in the 7th minute of play forced Blue Lions FC's goalkeeper Milosz Kuszczak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute, Jiang Jun Yin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruslan Goloveshko in the 16th minute of play forced Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's goalkeeper Igor Kelemen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute of the match Blue Lions FC got a corner. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ruslan Goloveshko ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jiang Jun Yin made a great header on Blue Lions FC's corner, it was just that Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Igor Kelemen managed to reach the ball for a save. If Karl-Michael Brask had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wagner Doro in the 20th minute of play forced Blue Lions FC's goalkeeper Milosz Kuszczak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Batalionul U23 Dorobanti getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Wagner Doro hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Jiang Jun Yin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Blue Lions FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jiang Jun Yin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Igor Kelemen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 30th match minute, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Angheluță to maneuver through the defense. Ruslan Goloveshko took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Igor Kelemen. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a little luck, Blue Lions FC's Milosz Kuszczak got control of the ball when Karl-Michael Brask tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 39 minutes Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ruslan Goloveshko who took care of the corner kick. Blue Lions FC's Ruslan Goloveshko was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Igor Kelemen in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 43 minutes into the match, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Wagner Doro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Milosz Kuszczak narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 45 minutes into the match, Blue Lions FC's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Michael Brask came free, but Milosz Kuszczak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jiang Jun Yin made a kick off. After 54 played minutes Batalionul U23 Dorobanti got a freekick which was hit by Wagner Doro. If Gogo Columbo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Karl-Michael Brask in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Milosz Kuszczak prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 63 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Karl-Michael Brask sped through Blue Lions FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Milosz Kuszczak. Milosz Kuszczak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Michael Brask, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Jiang Jun Yin came free with the goalkeeper in the 73rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Igor Kelemen could save by the left post. 76 minutes into the game, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Karl-Michael Brask nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Milosz Kuszczak made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Karl-Michael Brask got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Blue Lions FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Batalionul U23 Dorobanti had won, even though Blue Lions FC had held more of the ball.
