After 5 played minutes POSSE 1911 FC got a freekick which was hit by Lukas Lundgren. A sloppy throw-in by Joga Bem in the 10th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by POSSE 1911 FC's Xavi Guardiola. After a defensive mix-up in PINGO PINGO's zone, Sérgio Aguero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dionisio Raphael came out of the goal and Sérgio Aguero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Filip Josefsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Angel Xabel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the last second Angel Xabel throw himself and got hold of the ball when Alvaro Micarelli in the 26thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Angel Xabel was a little too slow when Gilberto Demario got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 1-0. POSSE 1911 FC's Angel Xabel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save POSSE 1911 FC from getting a goal against them. Alvaro Micarelli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Angel Xabel made a huge save. 39 minutes into the game, Alvaro Micarelli recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Angel Xabel. Alvaro Micarelli showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Sérgio Aguero managed to get in a good position for a shot. POSSE 1911 FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sérgio Aguero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dionisio Raphael breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The audience was convinced that Sérgio Aguero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dionisio Raphael was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Gaston Clodio's late challenge caught a PINGO PINGO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gaston Clodio helped the player get up and apologised. After 91 played minutes POSSE 1911 FC got a freekick which was hit by Gaston Clodio. A collision led to PINGO PINGO getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Felipe Fernandes hit a great ball. Dionisio Raphael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sérgio Aguero, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
