Breno Vergílio started the match with the kick off. 庄潮宽 scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aurelio Walme, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lech Biskupiak in the 12th minute of play forced S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's goalkeeper Aurelio Walme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 12 played minutes Riesgo Cero got a freekick which was hit by Amadeo Firman. After 16 minutes of play, Riesgo Cero's Lech Biskupiak made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aurelio Walme was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 20th minute, 庄潮宽 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristian Vladimirescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Breno Vergílio, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Geovani Medeiros who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Cristian Vladimirescu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With his leg Cristian Vladimirescu managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Geovani Medeiros fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 30 minutes into the match, Riesgo Cero's goal looked a bit too open when Breno Vergílio came free, but Cristian Vladimirescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute Breno Vergílio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Vladimirescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Breno Vergílio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristian Vladimirescu. Riesgo Cero's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Breno Vergílio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Aurelio Walme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 庄潮宽, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardinho de Senna in the 40th minute of play forced Riesgo Cero's goalkeeper Cristian Vladimirescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Lei Feng Yan could shoot a difficult shot in the 41st minute, which Cristian Vladimirescu however easily saved by the left post. S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bai Cheng Kang in the 42nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dávid Blažek during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dávid Blažek kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Amadeo Firman charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amadeo Firman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 48th minute, Amadeo Firman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Riesgo Cero's Donato Odilon was substituted for Marco Jorrin. After the first half Riesgo Cero were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lech Biskupiak made a kick off. After having played for 54 minutes, Santo Damario managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Riesgo Cero's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santo Damario was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Lucio Siekkötter got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aurelio Walme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lech Biskupiak in the 63rd minute of the match. Riesgo Cero's Cristian Vladimirescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geovani Medeiros in the 66th minute of play. Lech Biskupiak did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-3 to the left of a surprised Aurelio Walme 67 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute Ricardinho de Senna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Vladimirescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Riesgo Cero's Lech Biskupiak sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aurelio Walme narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lech Biskupiak in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aurelio Walme saved S.E.R. Caxias do Sul from getting behind. Aurelio Walme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lech Biskupiak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute, Lech Biskupiak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristian Vladimirescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geovani Medeiros in the 95th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Riesgo Cero walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
