Toa Toa 4EVER's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave S.E.R. Caxias do Sul the free kick. After 12 played minutes Toa Toa 4EVER got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Bartlett. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Toa Toa 4EVER's goalkeeper Túlio Silva, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Breno Vergílio in the 15th minute of play forced Toa Toa 4EVER's goalkeeper Túlio Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Daniel Owsiak got a free kick in the 28th minute. Fan Chong Lei charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ahmet Yahya Burçak stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Toa Toa 4EVER's Túlio Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Breno Vergílio in the 51st minute of play. Túlio Silva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Breno Vergílio, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Túlio Silva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Breno Vergílio in the 59th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Demetrio Ubriaco managed to get in a good position for a shot.
