The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 30th match minute, DINAMO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ryszard Borcz to maneuver through the defense. Christian Passos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ysmael Marfil read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. A collision led to Montevideo getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Laerte Lucas hit a great ball.

Ysmael Marfil stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christian Passos's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. In the 93rd minute, Moise Vlădean hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Despite being the better team, Montevideo failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
