Yusuf Altunova received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Adalberto Breckenfeld tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adalberto Breckenfeld made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yusuf Altunova in the 17th minute. Adalberto Breckenfeld was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Yusuf Altunova showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 17 minute of play. In the 20th minute Sabahattin Hanönü shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adalberto Breckenfeld saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yusuf Altunova fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adalberto Breckenfeld having to interfere. Adalberto Breckenfeld showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sabahattin Hanönü in the 28th minute of the match. Adalberto Breckenfeld made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Yusuf Altunova sent off a good shot on target. Zäfär Güläliyev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Édouard Deloge in the 33rd minute of the match. After 36 played minutes Los up up got a freekick which was hit by Zheng Yao. An unexpectedly hard shot by Édouard Deloge in the 38th minute of play forced Los up up's goalkeeper Zäfär Güläliyev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claudinei Sanches kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Adalberto Breckenfeld showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sabahattin Hanönü, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. BOTAFOGO's Adalberto Breckenfeld played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sabahattin Hanönü in the 44th minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Sabahattin Hanönü dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Adalberto Breckenfeld, 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The BOTAFOGO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adalberto Breckenfeld should have stopped the shot. Sabahattin Hanönü recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rigoberto Abeitia scored 6-0 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adalberto Breckenfeld, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. BOTAFOGO's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
