The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After taking down the ball on Scarlet Speedster's corner Tomas Wallin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jeremias Moreno quite easily take care of the ball. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Scarlet Speedster's goalkeeper Naldo Proença, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. ADM Taquaras's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Malcolm Westerberg in the 21st minute.
