Azulgrana 81's Cirilo Peyo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingo Jago in the 3rd minute of play. Cirilo Peyo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Darwin Núñez in the 5th minute of the match. Darwin Núñez was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Merengue FC's Mateo Llorienzo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejandro Martinez in the 9th minute of play. A collision led to Azulgrana 81 getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Henrique Morais hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Darwin Núñez in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cirilo Peyo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vladimir Lenin spun around in front of the goal 15 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Merengue FC's goal. In the 18thth minute of the game Alejandro Martinez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Merengue FC's Mateo Llorienzo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Roland Banaszaks short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Cirilo Peyo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Mateo Llorienzo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vladimir Lenin's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. In the 24th minute Vladimir Lenin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateo Llorienzo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Azulgrana 81's goalkeeper Cirilo Peyo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roland Banaszak. If Domingo Jago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albert Rauvoe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mateo Llorienzo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alejandro Martinez, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Alejandro Martinez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mateo Llorienzo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vladimir Lenin made a kick off. Cirilo Peyo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingo Jago, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Merengue FC's Mateo Llorienzo got control of the ball when Alejandro Martinez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cirilo Peyo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Darwin Núñez, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 89th minute of the game. One of Merengue FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Azulgrana 81:s goal. In the 91st minute, Dante Palban ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mateo Llorienzo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. A collision led to Merengue FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Ismael Frances hit a great ball.
