This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Rhys Dimmock as he didn't even see the shot coming. Zamalek FC's Rhys Dimmock proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Zamalek FC from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Zamalek FC's Rhys Dimmock got control of the ball when Verner Sundström tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Verner Sundström got free with Rhys Dimmock in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Omar Falleto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 武挺西 in the 12th minute of play. Omar Falleto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reese Otto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rhys Dimmock was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Verner Sundström showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 17 minute of play. The corner led Los Podridos ll's Filiberto Erramu to fire away a dangerous shot which Rhys Dimmock despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a rather tough play, Zamalek FC's Daron Joseph got a free kick in the 24th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Los Podridos ll's goal looked a bit too open when Chunche Montero came free, but Omar Falleto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute, Viktor Schukin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Reese Otto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Verner Sundström in the 34th minute of play forced Zamalek FC's goalkeeper Rhys Dimmock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Omar Falleto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 武挺西, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fulgencio Bilintx's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rhys Dimmock read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. The Los Podridos ll fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Podridos ll's goalkeeper Omar Falleto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulgencio Bilintx in the 44th minute of play forced Zamalek FC's goalkeeper Rhys Dimmock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 武挺西 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Los Podridos ll got a freekick which was hit by Fulgencio Bilintx. Daron Joseph kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 55th minute of the match Natanael Vives sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rhys Dimmock skillfully saved the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Zamalek FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Iratze came free, but Rhys Dimmock reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute of the match, Reese Otto tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Omar Falleto saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The supporters of Zamalek FC booed when Los Podridos ll was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Everardo Felipillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 武挺西's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Omar Falleto firmly grabbed it by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Verner Sundström in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rhys Dimmock saved Zamalek FC from getting behind. Omar Falleto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 武挺西's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. 72 minutes into the match, Zamalek FC's goal looked a bit too open when Verner Sundström came free, but Rhys Dimmock reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Verner Sundström in the 75th minute of play forced Zamalek FC's goalkeeper Rhys Dimmock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Los Podridos ll's Benedicto Sancho was substituted for Verner Sundström. Omar Falleto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 武挺西, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Zamalek FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Davis Duff in the 81st minute. Davis Duff made a great header on Zamalek FC's corner, it was just that Los Podridos ll's Omar Falleto managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reese Otto in the 83rd minute of play forced Los Podridos ll's goalkeeper Omar Falleto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute Fulgencio Bilintx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rhys Dimmock saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benedicto Sancho scored 4-0 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rhys Dimmock, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Zamalek FC's zone, Fulgencio Bilintx stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rhys Dimmock came out of the goal and Fulgencio Bilintx tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when 武挺西 got free with Omar Falleto in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Los Podridos ll were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Zamalek FC for a fine match.
