The crowd rose to their feet as Zamalek FC's Diogo Queirós slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fernando Courtois. That made the score 0-5 after 90 minutes of play. Agro Imortal's Fernando Courtois played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fred Kirkpatrick in the 93rd minute of play. In the 95th minute of the match Zamalek FC got a corner. Agro Imortal's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Chunche Montero ran over to the corner to take the kick. When the match was over Zamalek FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Agro Imortal throughout the match.
