After 19 minutes of play, Plebeyos's Guilherme Basso made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Juan Benavides was left in no man's land by his defense there! Plebeyos were furious when Paulino Diegotxe was red carded, 21 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Plebeyos's Arsenio Cordeal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Gustafson in the 27th minute of play. Arsenio Cordeal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Gustafson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes into the match, Plebeyos's Guilherme Basso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Juan Benavides narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Martín Ulloas short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Arsenio Cordeal to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Martín Ulloa in the 33rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Arsenio Cordeal, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After having played for 38 minutes, Tomas Gustafson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Gustafson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eduardo Tuzzio hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Humberto Escobar to strike the kick off in the second half. After 50 minutes, Martín Ulloa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ and the Plebeyos players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 51st minute, Plebeyos's Guilherme Basso ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Juan Benavides. Juan Benavides yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Plebeyos's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Emil Kostadinov in the 57th minute. It was a well-played corner which Enzo Kusko managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After 59 minutes of play, Plebeyos's Guilherme Basso made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Juan Benavides was left in no man's land by his defense there! Juan Benavides was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Guilherme Basso showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 63 minute of play. Arsenio Cordeal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martín Ulloa, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The Plebeyos supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Plebeyos would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
