Juan Benavides took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hélder de Lara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nubecitas FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Petri Marrero in the 8th minute. Eduardo Tuzzio was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 10 minutes into the match, Nubecitas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Humberto Escobar came free, but Christodoulos Karabogias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hélder de Lara's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Juan Benavides read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. 13 minutes had been played when some careless play by ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Petri Marrero was slow to take the kick. During this time Nubecitas FC's players had a chance to rest. Nubecitas FC's Petri Marrero was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Juan Benavides in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Hélder de Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hélder de Lara in the 16th minute of play forced ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s goalkeeper Juan Benavides to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martín Ulloa in the 17th minute of play forced Nubecitas FC's goalkeeper Christodoulos Karabogias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s goal looked a bit too open when Hélder de Lara came free, but Juan Benavides reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Tomas Gustafson made a precise shot to the right of Christodoulos Karabogias. Nubecitas FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 25th minute Hélder de Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Benavides saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Humberto Escobar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christodoulos Karabogias having to interfere. Juan Benavides showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hélder de Lara, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Christodoulos Karabogias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martín Ulloa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute Humberto Escobar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christodoulos Karabogias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Nubecitas FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Martín Ulloa was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Milosz Gabis in the 51st minute of play forced Nubecitas FC's goalkeeper Christodoulos Karabogias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hélder de Lara's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Juan Benavides read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55thth minute of the game Hélder de Lara who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Juan Benavides was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nubecitas FC's Petri Marrero was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Juan Benavides in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 61st minute of the match Nubecitas FC got a corner. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Petri Marrero ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 62nd minute, ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Martín Ulloa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Christodoulos Karabogias. Christodoulos Karabogias yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. After 66 minutes of play, Nubecitas FC's Hélder de Lara made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Juan Benavides was left in no man's land by his defense there! ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ made a substitution. Giancarlo Mora replaced Dari Mana. Nubecitas FC's Jordi Ferrari was substituted for Hélder de Lara. A collision led to Nubecitas FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Uygur Uçkan hit a great ball. Juan Benavides showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jordi Ferrari, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Jordi Ferrari might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Juan Benavides. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jordi Ferrari ran back to his position shaking his head. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Juan Benavides played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jordi Ferrari in the 75th minute of play. Milosz Gabis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Juan Benavides played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jordi Ferrari in the 78th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jordi Ferrari in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juan Benavides prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ defense, Jordi Ferrari kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juan Benavides. The ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juan Benavides should have stopped the shot. Juan Benavides showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jordi Ferrari, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. With a little luck, Nubecitas FC's Christodoulos Karabogias got control of the ball when Tomas Gustafson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Juan Benavides came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Nubecitas FC's Jordi Ferrari. But to his dismay, Jordi Ferrari quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. Miftah Astrajingga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Juan Benavides tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
