With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dacian Cârju prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 7 minutes into the match, Lionel-Andrés Messi notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of ≮王者归来≯の足球流民の's Dacian Cârju. Dacian Cârju was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Filiberto Tolino hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. 23 minutes into the game, Lionel-Andrés Messi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Dacian Cârju was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Uriel Ferrer came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Defensores de Lombroso fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Uriel Ferrer couldn't finish the play. In the 33rd minute, Lionel-Andrés Messi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dacian Cârju was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Dacian Cârju came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Defensores de Lombroso's Bruno Sauveur. But to his dismay, Bruno Sauveur quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Dacian Cârju made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lionel-Andrés Messi in the 46th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The referee felt a red card was in order, 52 minutes into the game, when 李永乐 Marco put in a rough tackle. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antaios Spiridakou in the 75th minute of play forced Defensores de Lombroso's goalkeeper Gianluca Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 秦竞锋 kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Defensores de Lombroso made a substitution. Valentín Barco replaced Federico Pirro. Antaios Spiridakou didn't get a good kick on the ball. Defensores de Lombroso's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
