Excelência de Luxe's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PGE FC the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Excelência de Luxe fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 10th minute. Penalty! 15 minutes into the match, PGE FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Gustavo Custódio came free, but Rolando Merexildo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute of the match Excelência de Luxe got a corner. PGE FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antônio Souza ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Antônio Souza almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but PGE FC's Rolando Merexildo did a great save. 21 minutes into the match, PGE FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Gustavo Custódio came free, but Rolando Merexildo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, PGE FC's Vítor Mandrak threw himself towards the right post 23 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mauro Odon, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 24thth minute of the game Luís Gustavo Custódio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PGE FC's Rolando Merexildo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Luís Gustavo Custódio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rolando Merexildo was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. In the 39thth minute of the game Luís Gustavo Custódio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PGE FC's Rolando Merexildo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Excelência de Luxe's goalkeeper Vítor Mandrak, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Guillermo Eguen in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vítor Mandrak saved Excelência de Luxe from getting behind. With his leg Rolando Merexildo managed to avoid a goal in the 85thth minute, when Excelência de Luxe's Luís Gustavo Custódio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 86 minutes, Luís Gustavo Custódio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Excelência de Luxe and the PGE FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 87th minute, Luís Gustavo Custódio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. For all the effort they put into the match, the Excelência de Luxe players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for PGE FC.
