If Henrique Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Oliver Kan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrique Borges in the 40th minute of play. In the 46th match minute, ORIZABA F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gică Bogdan to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cyprian Oliszewski to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to ORIZABA F.C. getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Julian Kosakowski hit a great ball. Oliver Kan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Henrique Borges's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrique Borges in the 54th minute of play forced ORIZABA F.C.'s goalkeeper Oliver Kan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from Jonathan Lopez in the 60th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by ORIZABA F.C.'s Gică Bogdan. Cyprian Oliszewski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hansjörg Wastl having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cyprian Oliszewski in the 61st minute of play forced Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's goalkeeper Hansjörg Wastl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ORIZABA F.C.'s Oliver Kan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save ORIZABA F.C. from getting a goal against them. Cyprian Oliszewski might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hansjörg Wastl. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cyprian Oliszewski ran back to his position shaking his head. Hansjörg Wastl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cyprian Oliszewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Jonathan Lopez hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ made a substitution. Valdemar Tepedino replaced Felippe Pitta. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Emiel Desmet was substituted for Naldo Valladares. 79 minutes into the game, Cyprian Oliszewski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Hansjörg Wastl was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Oliver Kan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edu Carvalho's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. After 91 minutes ORIZABA F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Zé Ivakin who took care of the corner kick. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
