The audience was convinced that Diego De La Vega's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mikolaj Jerzyk was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Thomas Vollmar made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Diego De La Vega had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mikolaj Jerzyk. Newcastle United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Diego De La Vega was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Diego De La Vega received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mikolaj Jerzyk came out and tried to block the shot, but Diego De La Vega slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 56th minute. Newcastle United's Benedykt Gdaniec was substituted for Tadeusz Pstrongowski. Mikolaj Jerzyk was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Diego De La Vega showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 60 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thomas Vollmar in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fanis Geronimidis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mikolaj Jerzyk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego De La Vega, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego De La Vega in the 75th minute of play forced Newcastle United's goalkeeper Mikolaj Jerzyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Belotaurus FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Belotaurus FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
