An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Olguín in the 6th minute of play forced Cosa nostra Lyon's goalkeeper Clem Fath to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bogdan Bambas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Qi Guo Yue having to make a save. Clem Fath took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Olguín, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The throw-in from Tim Ménet in the 14th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Torreoncito's Kaljo Kravik. After 19 minutes Cosa nostra Lyon's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pedro Olguín who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Torreoncito's Pedro Olguín to fire away a dangerous shot which Clem Fath despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Robert Dănescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Cosa nostra Lyon fans' excitement grew in the 23rd match minute when Cosa nostra Lyon's Willy Hautefeuille looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Torreoncito's Kaljo Kravik quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Willy Hautefeuille, made in the 26th minute of the game. Cosa nostra Lyon's Clem Fath played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Olguín in the 30th minute of play. Qi Guo Yue made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bogdan Bambas in the 31st minute. Qi Guo Yue made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Bogdan Bambas sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Torreoncito getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Ara Gostev hit a great ball. Pedro Olguín took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Clem Fath. Clem Fath dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Yu Chen Cheng kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Clem Fath showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Olguín in the 44th minute of the match. After 46 minutes Cosa nostra Lyon's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pedro Olguín who took care of the corner kick. Torreoncito made a substitution. Elodio Faine replaced Robert Dănescu. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bogdan Bambas made a kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 54 minutes, Clem Fath successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 55 minutes into the match, Cosa nostra Lyon's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Bünzli came free, but Clem Fath reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Borys Okopny in the 56th minute of play forced Cosa nostra Lyon's goalkeeper Clem Fath to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bogdan Bambas in the 60th minute of play forced Torreoncito's goalkeeper Qi Guo Yue to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Qi Guo Yue showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bogdan Bambas, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Cosa nostra Lyon's Florian Lardenois was substituted for Willy Hautefeuille. In the 71st minute of the match Cosa nostra Lyon got a corner. Torreoncito's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. José Rivera ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 73 minutes, José Rivera made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Torreoncito's Qi Guo Yue tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Cosa nostra Lyon's Clem Fath played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Borys Okopny in the 78th minute of play. When Torreoncito's Borys Okopny in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cosa nostra Lyon's goalie prevented a goal. Qi Guo Yue made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Rivera in the 87th minute of play. Qi Guo Yue showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paolo Maldini in the 91st minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, José Rivera notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Torreoncito's Qi Guo Yue. Qi Guo Yue was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Torreoncito's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
