In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ.'s goalkeeper Vicente Bartoleme, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 14 minutes, Florian Lardenois managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cosa nostra Lyon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florian Lardenois was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 30th minute, Bogdan Bambas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cosa nostra Lyon fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Moise Bădiță who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 35thth minute tested the skills of Clem Fath when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Cosa nostra Lyon's Xamo Zubiaur got a free kick in the 36th minute. Cosa nostra Lyon's Clem Fath played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moise Bădiță in the 38th minute of play. In the 45th minute, Davy Patron hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
