Guaberto Cucao made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Joaquin Loredo sent off a good shot on target. Joaquin Loredo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 13thth minute tested the skills of Guaberto Cucao when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Joaquin Loredo put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Guaberto Cucao. Mainumby's Guaberto Cucao proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Mainumby from getting a goal against them. 18 minutes into the match, Mainumby's goal looked a bit too open when Wiktor Björnsson came free, but Guaberto Cucao reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Mainumby's Guaberto Cucao got control of the ball when Pipo Inzaghi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Guaberto Cucao made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Joaquin Loredo sent off a good shot on target. In the 28th minute, Marco Pro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marco Pro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Guaberto Cucao came out and tried to block the shot, but Marco Pro slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 31st minute. A collision led to Mainumby getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. David Isusko hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marco Pro got free with Guaberto Cucao in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 38th minute Lázaro Chap shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rubio Mor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guaberto Cucao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Pro, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pipo Inzaghi in the 43rd minute of play forced Mainumby's goalkeeper Guaberto Cucao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rubio Mor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lázaro Chap, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joaquin Loredo in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guaberto Cucao prevented the ball from getting in the gole. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Mainumby made a substitution. Ezequiel Sugoi replaced Dante Sidro. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joaquin Loredo to strike the kick off in the second half. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joaquin Loredo couldn't finish the play. After 67 minutes, Victor Gelmiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mainumby and the Ornopata players grew even worse after the yellow card. David Isusko didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 74 played minutes, Ornopata's Ricart Iturburu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Guaberto Cucao came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. In the 81st match minute, Mainumby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amancio Intxixu to maneuver through the defense. In the 82nd minute, Joaquin Loredo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Mainumby's Victor Gelmiro got a free kick in the 83rd minute. 84 minutes into the match, Mainumby's goal looked a bit too open when Pipo Inzaghi came free, but Guaberto Cucao reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87thth minute of the game Pipo Inzaghi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mainumby's Guaberto Cucao was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Guaberto Cucao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquin Loredo, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. The Ornopata fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Pro in the 97th minute of play forced Mainumby's goalkeeper Guaberto Cucao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ornopata fans cheered their team off the field, for while Mainumby had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
