That made the score 1-0 after 17 minutes of play. 20 minutes into the match, Vejbystrand's goal looked a bit too open when Erling Lewandowski came free, but 龙挺卫 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 龙挺卫 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Facundo Bot in the 23rd minute of play. In the 28th minute Facundo Bot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 龙挺卫 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute of the match Go Ahead Eagles got a corner. Vejbystrand's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cássio Gonçalves ran over to the corner to take the kick. Facundo Bot was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Moisés Queiroga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rafa Lojewski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. In the 36th minute of the match Vejbystrand got a corner. Go Ahead Eagles's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sílvio Luís Faria ran over to the corner to take the kick. 42 minutes into the match, Vejbystrand's goal looked a bit too open when Facundo Bot came free, but 龙挺卫 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 43 minutes, Rafa Lojewski successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Harald Ennegren made a kick off. After 76 minutes Vejbystrand's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cássio Gonçalves who took care of the corner kick. Go Ahead Eagles's Cássio Gonçalves was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but 龙挺卫 in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Go Ahead Eagles's Rafa Lojewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Friedrich Reubold in the 77th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iustin Bâru in the 79th minute of play forced Vejbystrand's goalkeeper 龙挺卫 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Harald Ennegren in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rafa Lojewski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 83 minutes in the game Sílvio Luís Faria did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Friedrich Reubold. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harald Ennegren in the 86th minute of play forced Go Ahead Eagles's goalkeeper Rafa Lojewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 87 minutes into the game, Torgny Valrot threw the ball into play from the sideline. Go Ahead Eagles's Panos Karagoutis quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Go Ahead Eagles's attentive Cássio Gonçalves managed to snatch the ball when Sílvio Luís Faria made a throw-in in the 88th minute of the game. 龙挺卫 made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Iustin Bâru sent off a good shot on target.
