The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bengt-Arne Askstedt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ubaldo Padro in the 7th minute. Bengt-Arne Askstedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pan Guo Qian in the 12th minute of play. Ellis Schenck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kim Lekberg in the 14th minute of play. After some careless play in the Zlatan BK defense, Kim Lekberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ellis Schenck. The Zlatan BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ellis Schenck should have stopped the shot. Zlatan BK's attentive Per Hägglund managed to snatch the ball when Agatas Alkauskas made a throw-in in the 20th minute of the game. Bengt-Arne Askstedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pan Guo Qian in the 21st minute of play. Danell Mackiathan scored 1-1 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bengt-Arne Askstedt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 25 minutes of play, Zlatan BK's Danell Mackiathan made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bengt-Arne Askstedt was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Zlatan BK's goalkeeper Ellis Schenck, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 33rd minute of the match Savage Hippo got a corner. Zlatan BK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eddie Bjurström ran over to the corner to take the kick. Kim Lekberg hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Bengt-Arne Askstedt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesare Maestri, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Bengt-Arne Askstedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ubaldo Padro in the 46th minute of play. Halit Koralp hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Savage Hippo's Bengt-Arne Askstedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ubaldo Padro in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th minute Danell Mackiathan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt-Arne Askstedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ubaldo Padro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 58 minutes into the match, Savage Hippo's goal looked a bit too open when Ubaldo Padro came free, but Bengt-Arne Askstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Norbert Kostka hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Zlatan BK made a substitution. Tobias Tomasson replaced Mariusz Kloczko. In the 62nd minute, Norbert Kostka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 63rd minute Ubaldo Padro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt-Arne Askstedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Zlatan BK's Ubaldo Padro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bengt-Arne Askstedt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Oskar Kinnman in the 67th minute of play forced Savage Hippo's goalkeeper Bengt-Arne Askstedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bengt-Arne Askstedt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ubaldo Padro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zlatan BK's Ellis Schenck proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Zlatan BK from getting a goal against them. Ellis Schenck had in the 75thth minute some difficulties stopping Eddie Bjurström's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Savage Hippo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eddie Bjurström in the 76th minute. The corner led Savage Hippo's Eddie Bjurström to fire away a dangerous shot which Ellis Schenck despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Zlatan BK's Olle Olsson managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Aleksander Walec in the 80 minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Savage Hippo's zone, Ubaldo Padro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bengt-Arne Askstedt came out of the goal and Ubaldo Padro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Savage Hippo's Virginijus Balčaitis was substituted for Kim Lekberg. Ellis Schenck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virginijus Balčaitis in the 84th minute of play. Bengt-Arne Askstedt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ubaldo Padro, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Aleksander Walec got a throw-in 87 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Eddie Bjurström. In the 96th match minute, Savage Hippo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vilmantas Magdišauskas to maneuver through the defense. Savage Hippo's Bengt-Arne Askstedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ubaldo Padro in the 97th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Savage Hippo players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Zlatan BK.
