The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of E.C. Água Santa booed when ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteban Iztal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Branislav Velchevski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gafur Balkanlıoğlu in the 14th minute of the match. Fernandez Gøl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elpidio Francis, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Fernandes in the 24th minute of play forced ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's goalkeeper Branislav Velchevski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA booed when E.C. Água Santa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position.
