Esteban Iztal hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Emilio Ricciuti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Branislav Velchevski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesare Loreto in the 13th minute of play. Branislav Velchevski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesare Loreto, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Flavio Scatena could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Branislav Velchevski made a huge save. André Monclús received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Armando Bonelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Cesare Loreto reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Branislav Velchevski. The goal made the score 2-0. 30 minutes into the match, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's goal looked a bit too open when Edoardo Meo came free, but Branislav Velchevski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edoardo Meo in the 36th minute of play forced ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's goalkeeper Branislav Velchevski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute, Arnaldo Gabon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Branislav Velchevski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edoardo Meo in the 45th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Cesare Loreto made the kick off in the second half. André Monclús made in the 55th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Esteban Iztal however managed to control. Branislav Velchevski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesare Loreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA made a substitution. Genaro Mercurio replaced Arnaldo Gabon. Elpidio Francis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Armando Bonelli made a huge save. After having played for 64 minutes, Elpidio Francis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elpidio Francis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Branislav Velchevski came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Sorci Viola's Cesare Loreto. But to his dismay, Cesare Loreto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 77th minute, Edoardo Meo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 82 minutes, Edoardo Meo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sorci Viola's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edoardo Meo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elpidio Francis in the 84th minute of play forced Sorci Viola's goalkeeper Armando Bonelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Esteban Iztal got a free kick in the 87th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when André Monclús got free with Armando Bonelli in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's André Monclús got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
