The wind increased when Ştefan Magheran made the kick off in the second half. Anton Björnberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Vasquez in the 85th minute of the match. Vassilis Nentakis came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Inter de Chillán's Eladio Araujo. But to his dismay, Eladio Araujo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 93rd minute, 洪岚然 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luis Vasquez might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anton Björnberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luis Vasquez ran back to his position shaking his head. Anton Björnberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Vasquez, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Anton Björnberg made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Luis Vasquez sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 98 minutes, Lionel-Andrés Messi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. S.E. Pindorama Eagles's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lionel-Andrés Messi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
