Abel Ramalho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Şeray Rauf read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. In the 46th minute Octavio Froylan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andres Ekhi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Andres Ekhi was out of position in the 59 minute of play, and Octavio Froylan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Şeray Rauf made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. A collision led to Ricart Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Anísio Fantini hit a great ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
