With an extended leg and a bit of luck Waclaw Zajonc prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Waclaw Zajonc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Piara Santo in the 21st minute of play. Waclaw Zajonc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Piara Santo, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 68thth minute of the game Marius Gherghe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carloforte f.c.'s Waclaw Zajonc was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marius Gherghe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Waclaw Zajonc made a huge save. In the 70th match minute, Carloforte f.c. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ettore Brunetta to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marius Gherghe in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Waclaw Zajonc saved Carloforte f.c. from getting behind. Marius Gherghe scored 0-2 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Waclaw Zajonc, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Carloforte f.c. made a substitution. Dave Pozzoli replaced Ettore Brunetta. 0-3 became the score in the 80th minute when Marius Gherghe elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Nacho Scocco scored 0-4 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Waclaw Zajonc, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Waclaw Zajonc made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Marius Gherghe sent off a good shot on target. Waitakere F.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
