An unexpectedly hard shot by Piara Santo in the 5th minute of play forced Jonsereds IF's goalkeeper Gil Garcia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 6 minutes into the game, Piara Santo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Gil Garcia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hans Kilstedt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcos Burni read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Gil Garcia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Piara Santo in the 15th minute of play. Jonsereds IF's Gil Garcia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Piara Santo in the 15th minute of play. Sixten Sjö could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Marcos Burni made a huge save. If Piara Santo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 22 minutes, Sixten Sjö managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jonsereds IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sixten Sjö was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 29 minutes into the match, Jonsereds IF's goal looked a bit too open when Piara Santo came free, but Gil Garcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Folke Wahlström kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Che Kasten kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. 47 minutes into the game, Waitakere F.C.'s Piara Santo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gil Garcia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sixten Sjö to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Jonsereds IF's Folke Wahlström got a free kick in the 54th minute. Gil Garcia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Piara Santo in the 61st minute. Waitakere F.C.'s Eduardo Vasco was substituted for Gar Gamel. Waitakere F.C.'s Marius Gherghe was substituted for Piara Santo. Folke Wahlström made in the 64th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Sixten Sjö immediately put the ball in play. Ronny Nilsson hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 68th minute Hans Kilstedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Burni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Jonsereds IF's goalkeeper Gil Garcia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gil Garcia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nacho Scocco in the 76th minute of play. Gil Garcia made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Marius Gherghe sent off a good shot on target. If Sixten Sjö had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marcos Burni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sixten Sjö, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Marius Gherghe's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 87thth minute, Gil Garcia skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a rather tough play, Jonsereds IF's Humberto Gimeno got a free kick in the 94th minute. Marcos Burni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sixten Sjö in the 96th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Waitakere F.C. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Jonsereds IF.
