Damazy Tomaszewski received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gil Garcia came out and tried to block the shot, but Damazy Tomaszewski slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 21st minute. Ritchie Stansfield made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sixten Sjö in the 25th minute of play. Hans Kilstedt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Ritchie Stansfield tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Blažej Blazejowski came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Real Ayuntamiento CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Blažej Blazejowski couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sixten Sjö in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ritchie Stansfield saved Real Ayuntamiento CF from getting behind. 35 minutes into the game, Jonsereds IF's Hans Kilstedt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ritchie Stansfield made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the 40th match minute, Jonsereds IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronny Nilsson to maneuver through the defense. Real Ayuntamiento CF's Ritchie Stansfield played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sixten Sjö in the 46th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sixten Sjö to make the kick off. Sixten Sjö sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sixten Sjö blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ritchie Stansfield having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sixten Sjö got free with Ritchie Stansfield in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pedro Cucao took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gil Garcia. Gil Garcia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Gil Garcia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damazy Tomaszewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd minute Blažej Blazejowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gil Garcia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blažej Blazejowski in the 74th minute of play forced Jonsereds IF's goalkeeper Gil Garcia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Real Ayuntamiento CF's goalkeeper Ritchie Stansfield had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sixten Sjö. Gil Garcia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Blažej Blazejowski's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Ritchie Stansfield made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hans Kilstedt in the 80th minute of play. Ritchie Stansfield had great luck who in the 80thth minute grab hold of the ball when Hans Kilstedt from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Real Ayuntamiento CF made a substitution. Dariusz Szpakowski replaced Feliberto Distiratsu. 83 minutes had been played when some careless play by Real Ayuntamiento CF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ronny Nilsson was slow to take the kick. During this time Jonsereds IF's players had a chance to rest. Ronny Nilsson made a great header on Jonsereds IF's corner, it was just that Real Ayuntamiento CF's Ritchie Stansfield managed to reach the ball for a save. Real Ayuntamiento CF were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
