But to his dismay, Piara Santo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 22 minutes into the match, Piara Santo notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Carloforte f.c.'s Waclaw Zajonc. Waclaw Zajonc was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Piara Santo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Waclaw Zajonc made a huge save. Carloforte f.c.'s Waclaw Zajonc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Piara Santo in the 29th minute of play. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Carloforte f.c.'s goalkeeper Waclaw Zajonc, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Delmiro Oto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Waclaw Zajonc made a huge save. Marcos Burni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ettore Brunetta, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Marcos Burni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciro Donati in the 39th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute Piara Santo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waclaw Zajonc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Waitakere F.C.'s Marcos Burni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dobromir Adamowicz in the 45th minute of play. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Carloforte f.c.'s goalkeeper Waclaw Zajonc, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ettore Brunetta during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Piara Santo made a kick off. Carloforte f.c.'s Waclaw Zajonc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Piara Santo in the 51st minute of play. In the 65th minute of the match Waitakere F.C. got a corner. Carloforte f.c.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gabriel Batistuta ran over to the corner to take the kick. Khairil Swee tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Waclaw Zajonc. An unnecessary self made goal, 6-0 in the 65th minute. Carloforte f.c.'s Waclaw Zajonc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nacho Scocco in the 68th minute of play. Waclaw Zajonc came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Waitakere F.C.'s Nacho Scocco. But to his dismay, Nacho Scocco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Waclaw Zajonc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Batistuta in the 74th minute of the match. Carloforte f.c. made a substitution. Arrigo Guidoni replaced Elia Ritacco. Carloforte f.c. made a substitution. Diego Simeoni replaced Ettore Brunetta. A collision led to Carloforte f.c. getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Vítor Matorin hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Batistuta in the 77th minute of play forced Carloforte f.c.'s goalkeeper Waclaw Zajonc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcos Burni made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Diego Simeoni sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gabriel Batistuta in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Waclaw Zajonc prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 84 minutes into the match, Carloforte f.c.'s goal looked a bit too open when Nacho Scocco came free, but Waclaw Zajonc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute, Fabio Huezo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90th match minute, Carloforte f.c. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radoslaw Sroka to maneuver through the defense. The corner led Waitakere F.C.'s Gabriel Batistuta to fire away a dangerous shot which Waclaw Zajonc despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.
