After 8 minutes Golden Lions FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jan Lewandowski who took care of the corner kick. FC Bemowo's Jan Lewandowski was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Anders Lundqvist in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 14 minutes into the match, FC Bemowo's goal looked a bit too open when Loco Durazno came free, but Dariusz Bielejewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Szczepan Fiszer made in the 16th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Türkeş Kadem. A sloppy throw-in by Arne Tönnberg in the 20th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FC Bemowo's Türkeş Kadem. Loco Durazno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dariusz Bielejewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Loco Durazno in the 28th minute of the match. Waldemar Domaracki kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Marcelo Steven didn't quite understand what happened when in the 33 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Anders Lundqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ong Bongo in the 37th minute of play. If Loco Durazno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Golden Lions FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 45th minute. Penalty! The FC Bemowo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Golden Lions FC were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ong Bongo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Anders Lundqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ong Bongo, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. A hard shot by Marcelo Steven from long distance, 60 minutes into the match, got Dariusz Bielejewski's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Bemowo's goalkeeper Dariusz Bielejewski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. FC Bemowo made a substitution. Slawomir Przybyciel replaced Zhang Cheng Ang. FC Bemowo made a substitution. Nicasio Cugat replaced Ong Bongo. FC Bemowo's Sol Munoz was substituted for Waldemar Domaracki. After 64 minutes FC Bemowo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. If Cosme Larpe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Golden Lions FC's Walter Closet got a free kick in the 90th minute. The Golden Lions FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Golden Lions FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
