Orxata I Fartons's Janich Sodborg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André-Pierre Gignac in the 10th minute of play. Miguel Urane hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Janich Sodborg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ziya Di Maria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute Ziya Di Maria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Janich Sodborg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Orxata I Fartons's goal looked a bit too open when Ziya Di Maria came free, but Janich Sodborg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Henry Roos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Janich Sodborg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André-Pierre Gignac, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. When Henry Roos came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Orxata I Fartons fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henry Roos couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henry Roos in the 57th minute of play forced Buenaventura FC's goalkeeper Carlos Eduardo Ramos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Orxata I Fartons made a substitution. René Alabern replaced Tudor Hurezeanu. Henry Roos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Eduardo Ramos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Orxata I Fartons's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
