Edmond Verdun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maureen Franco in the 2nd minute of play. Errecaborda AFC's Edmond Verdun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Errecaborda AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 9th minute, Sporting Buceo's Isaias Jakue dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 12 minutes into the match, Errecaborda AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Isaias Jakue came free, but Edmond Verdun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isaias Jakue's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edmond Verdun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Isaias Jakue could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Edmond Verdun made a huge save. 18 minutes into the match, Sporting Buceo's goal looked a bit too open when Isidro Gines came free, but Máximo Correia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Victorino Sandalio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sporting Buceo's Máximo Correia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prospero Jerardo in the 30th minute of play. Sporting Buceo were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after Errecaborda AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rainier Gregoire took the corner. The corner led Sporting Buceo's Rainier Gregoire to fire away a dangerous shot which Edmond Verdun despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Máximo Correia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorino Sandalio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute Maureen Franco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmond Verdun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th minute of the game, Sporting Buceo got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

With a little luck, Sporting Buceo's Máximo Correia got control of the ball when Pastor Ado tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sporting Buceo made a substitution. Edmond Verdun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feng Jun, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After a rather tough play, Errecaborda AFC's Mauro Rameriz got a free kick in the 85th minute. Errecaborda AFC's Rogelio Jakes was substituted for Aírton Urbano. Mauro Rameriz hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. 89 minutes into the game, Sporting Buceo's Feng Jun nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edmond Verdun made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. 92 minutes into the match, Errecaborda AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Maureen Franco came free, but Edmond Verdun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
