The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Picanya FC's goalkeeper Naldo Roig, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Sonstorps Fotboll getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Allan Helberg hit a great ball. Gregory Bermejo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Picanya FC's Gaskon Gimeno got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Henric Villaquiran in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Janne Katt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Janne Katt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gregory Bermejo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 20 minutes Sonstorps Fotboll's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Henric Villaquiran who took care of the corner kick. When Picanya FC's Henric Villaquiran in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sonstorps Fotboll's goalie prevented a goal. After 28 minutes Sonstorps Fotboll's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Henric Villaquiran who took care of the corner kick. The supporters of Picanya FC booed when Sonstorps Fotboll was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Rosendahl didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henric Villaquiran in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Janne Katt saved Sonstorps Fotboll from getting behind. In the 32nd match minute, Picanya FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petronio Carceles to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Picanya FC's zone, Daniel Törnblom stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Naldo Roig came out of the goal and Daniel Törnblom tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jørg Heichendorff's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 41stth minute, Naldo Roig skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Stig-Åke Molander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Naldo Roig having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Törnblom stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Naldo Roig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Törnblom, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 56 minutes had been played when some careless play by Picanya FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Törnblom was slow to take the kick. During this time Sonstorps Fotboll's players had a chance to rest. Sonstorps Fotboll's Daniel Törnblom was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Naldo Roig in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Henric Villaquiran came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Picanya FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henric Villaquiran couldn't finish the play. In the 61st minute, Gavino Semeno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Picanya FC's Ramón Valcarcel was substituted for Ugaitz Silva. A collision led to Sonstorps Fotboll getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Gavino Semeno hit a great ball. Janne Katt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gregory Bermejo's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. In the 69th minute, Gaskon Gimeno reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Janne Katt. The goal made the score 0-1. Naldo Roig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Rosendahl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 76 minutes, Janne Katt successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The throw-in from Stig-Åke Molander in the 79th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Picanya FC's Baltazar Zaplana. If Desiderio Elias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Picanya FC fans' excitement grew in the 83rd match minute when Picanya FC's Henric Villaquiran looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 85th minute, Picanya FC's Gaskon Gimeno dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Henric Villaquiran managed to get in a good position for a shot. Picanya FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Henric Villaquiran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Janne Katt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Picanya FC's Gregory Bermejo in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sonstorps Fotboll's goalie prevented a goal. When the final whistle sounded Picanya FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Sonstorps Fotboll.
